Stephanie
Gene Morgan, Cinematographer/Photographer
Born
and raised in New York, Stephanie was an art handler for The Cooper Hewitt
Museum but gave in to the westward migration of her artistic peers to
evade becoming a bitter little woody allen character. She has shown her
photographs in solo and group exhibitions across the country and in 1999
she was awarded Studios Midwest Residency. Running the gamut of experience,
her photographs can be seen in corporate advertising, music projects and
performance art. They have also appeared in publications such as Dwell,
The Advocate and The Surfinary. Stephanie's style of shooting first came
to Kia's attention when her work was projected at Loöq Records Qoöl
parties. Since then Stephanie has worked with Kia on The
Dive and Little
Debbie, and are currently making a new music video for Momu.
She
has 2 books of collected photographic work (Seen Unseen, Days From Now
Until Then) and has just completed a third titled POSTCARDS (www.stephaniegenemorgan.com) |
